Paxi
The jewel on the Ionian Sea popular but not crowded. Three small
ports having retained their color and pebbled beaches makes the island
unique.
Worth visiting
- Gaios the capital is been built on the gulf of
Gaios close by the island of St . Nicholas
thus sheltering the port from any bad weather . On top of St.
Nicholas island there is a castle which
was built in 1423. The monastery of Panagia (Virgin Mary) which
lies on the island with the same name . Logos is
surrounded by hills and old mills. Lakka small
natural harbour with fantastic blue waters, Mongonissi and Kaltsonissi.

Parga a small city on the mainland with many places worth a visit,
the Venetian castle, the waterfalls etc.
- Antipaxi - is a small
island opposite to Paxi with beautiful beaches and two small taverns
accessible only by boat.
How to arrive.

By bus to Parga or Mourtos or Igoumenitsa and then by boat.

By air from Athens to Corfu and then by boat 2 hrs.
